As resindent of Pécs it is very good to come home from somewhere that the TV tower has been pointing the way from afar, especially since it has been lit up. Every day you can be excited to see what color it will be today.

Since December 2023, the TV tower has become a real tourist attraction again! The previously very run-down sight has been replaced by the Misina Tetőpont (Peak) Family and Movement Space, i.e. a great excursion-tourist-family center.
The area around the TV tower has also become highly accessible and will provide exciting entertainment and sports opportunities for the public from February 2024.
Barrier-free toilet is located in the Misina Tetőpont building on the ground floor, next to the snack bar in a corridor.
You can read the detailed description of the Misina Tetőpont here in our database under this name.

The TV tower has currently a restaurant and café and an unique panorama of the city. An elevator leads up to the TV tower, but unfortunately nothing else is barrier-free.

It is not possible to exchange tickets independently, there are stairs at the ticket office.
Getting into the TV tower can be through two doors, on the way out of the elevator to the lookout point there is a ramp, but it is difficult to use.
It is not possible to get to the edge of the lookout point with a wheelchair.
Despite the difficulties our electric wheelchairuser member struggled with it and it was worth it, the panorama is amazing!
The re-exploration of the TV tower is planned by our association in spring 2024.

Web site: The menu/ drinks menu is easily readable, and the membership section is clear and usable with a screen reader.

Getting there:
by bus, line 35 arrives at the Misina-tető. The bus departs from the Main Railway Station but has several stops in the city centre. The bus is barrier-free, the loud announcement is unfortunately too quiet at times.
The bus stop is located in the first parking lot below. The barrier-free exit from the bus stop is currently located on a ramp much further away on the sidewalk. However, this will require a permanent and better solution in the future, with a direct ramp from the bus stop. Cars will certainly be parked in front of the current ramp, as there is no indication of its function. Thus, an accessible expiration sign and painting are required as an immediate solution. The Pécs Urban Development Ltd. is a partner in finding a solution for this in the near future. Thanks in advance.
Suggestion: it is worth asking the bus driver to drop off disabled passengers at the Misina Tetőpont building above. Do not take them down to the bus stop, from where it is more difficult to come up the said steep ramp to the building.

by car from the city center, the TV Tower and the Misina-tető can be reached in 15-20 minutes, on Hunyadi Road, towards the Pauline Church, passing by the Da Vinci private clinic, towards the Zoo, then on Angyan János Road. Barrier-free parking is located right next to the Misina Tetőpont building 2pcs. From here, the building and its surroundings, the TV tower can be reached comfortably. Three more accessible parking spaces are located at bus stop level in the car park below. The ramp leading from here to the building is quite steep, here manual wheelchair assistance is required.

[27,35

14
