The tourist office is located in the heart of P\u00e9cs in the building of the town hall, in the same space as I Love P\u00e9cs Caf\u00e9, but with a separate entrance.<\/span><\/p>\n

The entrance, the interior are accessible, wheelchair access is excellent in the client area, counters and exhibits are also available.
\nThere is no guide lane for visually impaired people, but induction loops helps for hearing impaired.<\/span><\/p>\n

One of the best accessible toilets in the city is accessible via the I Love P\u00e9cs Caf\u00e9 and can be accessed through the other entrance.<\/span><\/p>\n

UPDATE:
\n<\/strong>A complete rebranding took place at the Tourinform office at the beginning of 2025. By April, not only the furniture and furnishings have been renewed, but the office on the main square of the city also functions as a community space<\/em>. They also created a section in the office where you can drink coffee, read and have a relaxed conversation. From an accessibility point of view, this means that the brochures are at an accessible height and the space is orderly and accessible to use. In the renewed space, a touch screen (Touch Info) has been installed, where you can find out everything about the programs and attractions of the area with a single movement (events, sights, recommended restaurants and accommodation), so you can plan your stay in P\u00e9cs. On the Touch Info screen the Ir\u00e1ny P\u00e9cs! and the P\u00e9cs Aktu\u00e1l <\/span> websites are running, there is no special accessibility device. Touch Info is accessible from a wheelchair. In addition, interesting sights are constantly shown on a projector TV.

\nThe\u00a0Ir\u00e1ny P\u00e9cs!<\/a> website is more convenient to use from a smartphone. The site is flexible, it can be enlarged, buttons and links are easy to click. For people with attention problems or sensory hypersensitivity, it can be a challenge that on a computer there are too many moving, flashing elements on some elements of the site. For people with learning or intellectual disabilities, it may be difficult to understand the function of some icons. For visually impaired people, some areas may lack contrast and duplicate too much information. Many of the images appear in between the text, making it difficult for them to read. Images are not captioned for the visually impaired. References are not labelled, making them unintelligible to screen readers. However, it is good that the headings make navigation easier. People with mobility disabilities may find it challenging to navigate using the tabulator.
\nThe\u00a0P\u00e9cs Aktu\u00e1l<\/a> website is also easier to use from a smartphone. This page is also flexible, can be easily enlarged, buttons and links are easy to click. However, some elements also move around, which is not pleasant for people with attention deficit disorder. For the visually impaired, titles are often highlighted with inappropriate contrast. Heading order tagging is used, which makes it easier for visually impaired people using screen reading software.
