A simple guide<\/strong>
\nto help you find what you need more easily<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n

You can access the Barrier\u2011free P\u00e9cs Database in two ways on this site:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. On the Home page, by clicking the blue Barrier\u2011free P\u00e9cs Database button<\/strong> on the right side<\/li>\n
  2. In the website\u2019s menu, at the bottom of the Barrier\u2011free P\u00e9cs page<\/strong>, you will also find the blue button<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    THE ENTIRE WEBSITE is ACCESSIBLE.
    \nOn the top left, by clicking the small blue icon, you can find all accessibility options.
    \nWe are continuously adding image descriptions in the Barrier\u2011free P\u00e9cs Database for our friends with visual impairments.<\/p>\n

    How to search?<\/span><\/h2>\n

    Start with the Keres\u00e9s\/Filters <\/b>button.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

    If you want to search by categories<\/h3>\n

    When you click the Keres\u00e9s\/Filters button, the label Select category<\/strong>\u00a0opens below it, where you can search among the listed locations BY CATEGORIES.<\/p>\n

    The following categories are used. You can scroll with the up and down arrows on the right side:<\/p>\n

    Caf\u00e9\/confectionery
    \nChurch
    \nCulture
    \nHiking trails
    \nHotel\/accommodation
    \nNear P\u00e9cs
    \nPublic institutions
    \nPublic toilet
    \nRestaurant
    \nShop\/Shopping
    \nSights
    \nSport<\/p>\n

    Select the category (for example, Restaurant) and click on it, then click the Apply Filters<\/strong> button to see all the restaurants we have mapped. Follow the same steps for any other category.

    If you are looking for a specific location<\/h3>\n

    In this case, under the Keres\u00e9s\/Filters button type the name of the place into the What are you looking for?<\/strong> field (for example, Almalomb). By clicking the Apply Filters button, you can immediately see everything we have described and photographed about that location.

    Start a new search<\/h3>\n

    With the Keres\u00e9si felt\u00e9telek t\u00f6rl\u00e9se\/Reset Filters<\/strong> button, you can delete the conditions you have set so far: the category, and anything you may have typed into the What are you looking for?<\/strong>\u00a0field.

    \nIf you want to start everything from the beginning, click the Keres\u00e9s\/Filters<\/strong> button, then click the Keres\u00e9s ind\u00edt\u00e1sa\/Apply filters<\/strong> button. This will give you the same result as when you first loaded the database page.
    \n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    BACK, NEW SEARCH: if you have viewed a location but want to look for another one, use the Vissza<\/strong> (Go back) link in the top left corner of the location\u2019s page.
    \nYou can also use your browser\u2019s Back button; the two functions work the same way.<\/p>\n

    If you want to search using completely different criteria, click the Keres\u00e9s\/Filters<\/strong> button again, then click the Keres\u00e9s ind\u00edt\u00e1sa\/Apply filters<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n

    What do the descriptions include?<\/span><\/h2>\n

    When you click on a displayed location, you can see the IMAGES we have taken. We always try to present each place from several different perspectives so you can decide whether it is personally manageable for you.
    \nBy clicking the small images under the large one, you can view them in full size as well.<\/p>\n

    Under the images, you will find the DESCRIPTION, the ADDRESS of the location, and you can also look up the place on the MAP.<\/p>\n

    You can find additional information on the location\u2019s own website.<\/p>\n

    Finally, we indicate whether the location has an accessible toilet.<\/p>\n

    To RETURN TO THE HOME PAGE and the other menu items, click the large People First logo or the People First text in the top left corner.<\/p>\n

    Write down your own experience!<\/span><\/h2>\n

    It is very important<\/strong> that you also SHARE YOUR OWN OPINION AND EXPERIENCE about each location, this will greatly help others in the future! You can do this under the description, by clicking \u00cdrj v\u00e9lem\u00e9nyt<\/strong> (Write a review.)

    \n<\/span>First, rate the location with stars under \u00c9rt\u00e9kel\u00e9s<\/strong> (Rating).\u00a0The more stars you select, the better and more accessible you consider the place.<\/p>\n

    Next, write a short summary of your own experience with the location in the box labeled Comment.<\/strong> Your aim should be to offer helpful guidance to others! Don\u2019t criticize, instead help, suggest, and offer useful insights.<\/p>\n

    Then click the black \u00c9rt\u00e9kel\u00e9s bek\u00fcld\u00e9se<\/strong> (Submit rating)\u00a0button.<\/p>\n

    You will immediately receive a confirmation letting you know that we have received your rating, will review it, and then publish it.
    \nIf you would like to send your own photo of the location, you cannot do that here, but we are happy to receive it at info@peoplefirst.hu, and we will upload it.<\/p>\n

    Other information<\/span><\/h2>\n

    The pages are PRINTABLE, so you can take them with you on paper if needed.<\/p>\n

    The database is MOBILE\u2011FRIENDLY, meaning you can search and use the entire database on your mobile phone as well.<\/p>\n

    You can suggest a location too!<\/span><\/h2>\n

    We appreciate it if, as you\u2019re out and about, you notice an accessible location in P\u00e9cs or around P\u00e9cs and let us know. We will explore it, and it will be added to the Database.<\/p>\n
